So yesterday was THE day for the photo shoot, and BOY did we have fun!!
Granted typical me had a wardrobe crisis before i had to leave and thank god for my little sister's friend who is a whiz with the needle and thread. She was able to get some hook and eyes on the bra while i was showering and getting ready to go. Everything was then tossed into my bag and i drove to the dance studio where we were going to have the photos taken.
Just about everyone was there, save for my dance teacher who had a gig before the shoot. We all were essentially ready and waiting for the photographer to finish setting up in one of the other rooms when one of the girls broke out a bottle of wine and plastic cups. *snicker * It was quite fun to be standing around and talking holding plastic cups filled with wine. And of course one of the girls had to take a few shots of us standing around drinking wine, which is fun because it shows that we're all real people and need a few sips of wine to loosen us up (though some of us really didn't need it).
Once he was set up and ready to go we all filed into the other room and started the shoot. We didn't do anything too posed, had a great time and we laughed and had a blast. We all got to take individual shots as well and had a blast with that. I walked onto the background and just started moving and shaking to the music that my teacher put on, which she knew really loosens me up and relaxes me. The photos in my series are AMAZING, but the only other girl who rivals my shots is another beauty that looks FANTASTIC both in normal clothes and in costume. She is so beautiful and poised that it is awe inspiring and something i totally envy.
I cant wait to see how well the photos came out, we're all getting the raw images on a CD as well as a free 8x10 group shot of his choice. If we want prints done up, we can contact him and he can do work on it to have imperfections taken out and fixed, for a fee of course.
