Walking into the store itself brings one such peace; between the music that is playing and the subtle scent of whatever they burn, it’s amazing. We browsed the store for a bit before dropping our donations in the little basket and took a seat in the circle.
Once the meditation started and I started getting deeper and deeper into the proper state, I started suddenly feeling almost distended, like my torso was in the right spot, but my chest was leaning to the left and my hips had shifted right. As we were guided in the meditation I slowly felt my body shifting back into place a bit. Then the healers walked around the circle, some laying their hands, others just standing.
Rose wasn’t too sure of the male; then again she never really trusts many male energies anyway. At once point I felt sealed in a circle of power that had my whole body tingling and my senses flashing like sparklers. I remember “seeing” swirls of pastel pinks and blues and a bit of green. One of them even calmed Rose DOWN, which is a feat in and of itself, especially since she wanted to scent mark one of the women who stood behind us and held my hands to my chest. There have only been three people she’s marked in that way, so the energy of that person she must have liked.
After the lights came back on we stood and started walking out to the car, my feet felt heavy, like I was still grounded to where I had been sitting. Needless to say now that I know what I’m doing for the most part I’ll be able to re-create it. And on the nights that I don’t have to work during faire, I will more than likely return to the circle…
OWW…. And remember to invoke Rose into the circle next time.
