Such a beautiful and moving song, a plea to one that is loved, but the person that one is in love with doesn’t seem to know the love that is felt for them.

Or how it feels to me, a plea to open up and let someone who cares inside, to help mend the hurt that is there and to kiss the scars left behind by those of the past.  The need to help heal, support and befriend someone who is in need of a positive friend, and eventually love again.  A gentle and warm light and open arms to come to for any need, friendship, comfort, safety.

Both interpretations could be true for this song, though the second is the one that is so much more like me.
